The Taxation Committee is one of the Committees’ of the NBA-SBL comprised of seasoned legal practitioners with a bias for tax law, practice and policy. The Committee provides good opportunity for lawyers to network among themselves on tax matters and seeks to increase basic understanding of, and communication about, tax issues in Nigeria.

The Committee is responsible for raising the standard of tax law practice in Nigeria through capacity building for its members, constant engagement with government agencies on tax legislation and issues. The Committee also provides its members and the public with access to relevant and up to date information on key areas relating to the practice of tax law. The Committee is chaired by Mr. Olaleye Adebiyi.
